What God said to me | I am watching you. I am restraining Myself from pouring out My judgment on you until the day that has been appointed for Me to do so. But I am aware of everything you do publicly and privately. My punishment will be particularly severe for those who once loved Me and then chose to turn away from Me. Do not be deceived by what others may say about Me. |
What I said to God | You know how to get my attention – and to break my heart. To consider what You have said in light of my own life is one thing, but as a parent (and now a grandparent) my thoughts are extended beyond myself. As much as I cherish You, I would give my own soul to save theirs. Protect them from the deceitfulness of those around them. Lead them ever closer to Your throne of righteousness. Forgive every weak moment I have had that did not allow them to see You living in me. Turn their hearts toward You in spite of me. Keep them in Your care. |
