What God said to me

Live a holy life. Your deeds and/or motives will not always be apparent to others, but be holy so that on the day of judgment when the truth is known by all your life will be cause for praise.

What I said to God

Though it is difficult to experience other people’s misunderstandings of what I have and have not done, it is also difficult (and extremely uncomfortable) to “toot my own horn.” You know my heart. No one else can. You are the One I long to please. Take my life and consecrate it to Your service today.

Prepare your mind for holiness. You have been chosen and set apart. Live like it! Jesus’ blood was shed for you. Show your appreciation through obedience to Me and a demonstration of a sincere and fervent love for others.

What I said to God

Help me to be holy like You are holy. Keep me ever mindful of my need for You. Help me to always choose a life of obedience and love.

I have chosen you to be with me throughout eternity. Your time on earth is temporary. You are like a stranger who is visiting for only a short time. However, your inheritance is secure. It will not spoil. It will not fade. The experiences you have in this life serve to strengthen your faith and help you to love Me more. Share your faith to lead others to Me.

What I said to God

How special! You have chosen me and it is your great pleasure to give me an inheritance that cannot be diminished by any person or event on earth. How dare I not share You with others!
