What God said to me

Take off your “grave clothes” and experience the freedom of your new life with Me. Christ died in your place (remember the payment you deserve for your sin is death). Christ conquered death and lives again so that you may live with Him and experience life more abundantly. Do you believe – I mean really believe? If so, you should be experiencing life to its fullest.

What I said to God

“I believe, help Thou my unbelief.” Though I believe, I am still weighted down with the cares of this world (grave clothes). It isn’t that I have difficulty distinguishing among those things that will matter for eternity and those things that will not. I seem to get bogged down in the doing (checking off the blanks - getting things done and getting them done according to specification, whether Your specification or someone else’s) and lose sight of the living. Teach me to live.
