What God said to me | You speak freely to Me and that is okay. After all, I know your heart anyway. However, let me remind you that I am God. I am Lord of all. ALL things are subject to Me. |
What I said to God | I did learn long ago that it seems to be human nature to put others down in an attempt to build ourselves up. I never translated that to my relationship with You. Forgive me for making excuses for my actions that trivialize Your splendor and power. You remind me that all things are possible with You. I am the one with lack of faith. I am the one who loses focus. I am the one who is weak and unprepared for the battles I face. I am responsible for my shortcomings. You alone are worthy of all praise and honor and glory. Thank You for all the unmerited favors You have bestowed on me. |
