Scripture | Romans 8:18-21 (BSFL*) | Translation | NIV |
What God said to me | The life that you now live is nothing compared to the days that are to come for you, days in which we will walk together and My glory will be all that anyone sees. I know you get frustrated by the day-to-day trails. Allow those frustrations to bring you closer to Me and strengthen our relationship. I love you. I want to be with you in good times and bad. I want us to live together in glorious freedom! |
What I said to God | Several years ago as I was reading about Enoch of whom it was written that he walked with God and he was no more, I realized that this is what I wanted to be said of me. My greatest desire is that Your life and mine will become so enmeshed that we will walk together and no one will notice me at all. They will see only You. Forgive me for allowing my frustrations to separate rather than bind us together. Help me to see everything in my life (good and bad) as an opportunity to grow in my relationship with You. I love You, too! |
