What God said to me

Listen to Me. Not only do I speak to you through the words that have been written by those who have come before you, but also I also speak to you through Jesus. I have so many things I want to say to you. Are you listening?

What I said to God

Forgive me for expecting to You to wait while I listen to others around me and run from fire to fire throughout the day. Too often Your turn to speak to me has never come. Today, I have come to my work office early to get away from the distractions at home hoping to spend this time with You before I “clock in.” I have learned there are distractions here as well. What a wonderful time this would be to straighten my desk and do some things that I have not been able to do with the distractions of phone calls and people coming in the door. (I cannot believe it – someone just walked in the door!) Even if I am unable to give You my full attention for a designated block of time, please do not give up on me. Help me to take advantage of every moment I can get with You. In those rare and precious moments, speak to me.
