What God said to me
Look for balance. Though you do not persecute others as Paul did, there are times that your zeal may cause others to feel that you are criticizing them or suggesting that yourvview is the only correct one. Either scenario may damage relationships and/or negatively affect your outreach and ministry. You must try to find a balance between standing firmly by what you believe and sharing your beliefs with others in a way that encourages dialogue from which all who are involved might grow in their devotion to and walk with Me.

What I said to God
It has been said that being aware of a problem is a big step toward making corrections. Okay. I am aware. You know me better than anyone else. You know my intent has never been to hurt anyone or make them feel that I think I am better than they are in any way. In fact, You know better than anyone else that I constantly struggle with very low self esteem, viewing myself as far inferior to everyone else I know. Perhaps the way I express myself is an overcompensation for my feelings of inadequacy. Teach me. Teach me to love myself and others in a way that is appropriate and pleasing to You. Teach me to communicate effectively, encouraging dialogue from which all who are involved might grow in our devotion to and walk with You. Teach me how to nurture existing relationships and embrace new ones. Teach me to be more like You.
